Biography

Bill Acosta, 1001 Voices, brings his very special blend of wonderful jazz singing, comedy and vocal impressions to the stage of Norfolk’s Roper Performing Arts Center on Friday, February 3, 2006.

Long a Las Vegas headliner, Bill started his career as a jazz vocalist in his native New Orleans, where he heard all the great jazz performers. Before Las Vegas, Bill was established in his adopted hometown of Chicago where he developed his incredible lis t of vocal impressions, which continue in his act today.

Backed by the renowned Vincent Falcone and his all-star jazz trio, this is sure to be a delightful evening of music, impressions and comedy. Falcone was Frank Sinatra’s musical director for several years.

A show not to be missed.
